- • Persistent high fever (above 39°C for 3+ days)

- • Confusion, drowsiness, or reduced consciousness
- • Repeated vomiting or signs of dehydration
- • Blood in vomit, stool, urine or phlegm
- • New neurological symptoms (weakness, numbness, facial drooping, slurred speech)
- • Thoughts of self-harm or suicide, or causing harm to others
- • Any rapid deterioration or symptom that feels serious
- • A work-related injury (this requires a Certificate of Capacity from an in-person GP)
