How to get a medical certificate online
Getting a legally valid medical certificate online in Australia takes about 3 minutes of your time and a few hours of doctor review. Here's the process end to end.
Step 1 — Fill in the request form
Go to the request page and enter your name, date of birth, contact details, symptoms, and the dates you need covered. You'll also confirm you're in Australia and answer a short medical history.
Step 2 — Pay securely
$10 AUD for a single-day certificate, $20 for 2–5 days. Payment is processed by Stripe. You're not charged if the doctor decides telehealth isn't appropriate for your situation.
Step 3 — Doctor review
An AHPRA-registered Australian doctor reviews your request. Most requests are reviewed within a few hours during Australian business hours. If the doctor needs more information they'll email or call you.
Step 4 — Receive and share your certificate
The signed PDF lands in your inbox. Forward it to your employer or school. Every certificate has a unique code they can check on our verify page.
